RPC Benchmarking Tool

The RPC Benchmarking Tool is one of Alchemy’s projects to help optimize developers’ experience when building smart contracts.A smart contract developer can run tests against several service providers (headto head) to gauge which performs better, and may in turn opt to use them intheir custom dApp projects.

BetaRPC

BetaRPC by MevAlphaLeak is an RPC endpoint that protects EVM wallets from misfortunate events, such as paying gas for failed transactions and mitigatingfront-runners and sandwiches.BetaRPC will back-run a user’s wallet transactions to check for rebates. All BetaRPC operations are carried out on a ‘when necessary’ basis to avoiddelaying simple transactions like token sending.

GetBlock

GetBlock is a service provider for blockchain-reliant businesses to host custom private nodes or use shared nodes.Users can integrate crypto payments with GetBlock’s DeFi and Custodial walletservices APIs.Developers can host private projects such as games, and data-sensitive smart contracts in private nodes for security, speed, and scalability.

Infura

The Infura Protocol was launched by E.G. Galano in 2016 with the objective of becoming the most comprehensive toolsuite for Web3 developers in the industry.Primarily, Infura provides developers with reliable RPC nodes. Using Infura, developers can transmit data between their applications and the blockchainitself. With an exhaustive list of blockchain development APIs, tools andinfrastructure solutions, Infura has helped household names like Uniswap,Compound and Ethernity get their applications off the ground. Offering support on a multitude of networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, NEAR andAvalanche, Infura is the trusted service provider for over 400,000 blockchaindevelopers across the fields of Decentralized Finance, NFTs and IFPS.

Quicknode

Quicknode provides node runners the infrastructure to start building Web3 applications with the ease of Web2 development.Developers can create DApps using the Quicknode-provided APIs anddocumentation/tutorials to create wallets, NFT marketplaces, games, and more. The marketplace opens up developer talent to creating and selling add-ons andother tools for developers.

OMNIA

Originally launched in 2021 by co-founders Christian and Alexandru Lupascu, the Omnia protocol offers blockchain users and developers decentralized node infrastructure and management. Using Omnia Protocol, anyone can create an RPCNode through their simple app and communicate directly with the blockchain. Node Operators can also earn rewards everytime Omnia privacy relayers send requeststo their RPC.According to the Omnia Whitepaper, the Omnia Protocol currently supports nodemanagement on the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain Networks.

Lava Network

Developed in 2022 by an anonymous team of passionate blockchain developers, LavaNetwork is a trustless peer-to-peer marketplace for RPC calls. Using LavaNetwork, developers can be matched with node operators on any chain to effectively communicate between dApps and their blockchain of choice. Whatseparates Lava Network from other node providers is that instead offering nodeservices themselves, Lava Network allows node operators to rent out RPCs todevelopers based on geographic location and latency.Lava Network is fully decentralized and censorship-resistant, meaning itmitigates the risk of significant network downtime due to a centralized point offailure. Developed on it’s own appchain using the Cosmos SDK, Lava Network aimsto further decentralize node operation.

GenesysGO

The GenesysGo project was founded in February 2021 by Frank Mathais. Offering a comprehensive range of services including validator node operation, RPC maintenance and storage solutions, GenesysGo is a go-to provider for network services on the Solana blockchain. GenesysGo allows developers to benefit from fast and reliable communication between their applications and the Solana blockchain. By using GenesysGo,developers can bypass public RPC servers which are prone to congestion and downtime. GenesysGO RPC endpoints are available all over the world and can be configured in just 15 minutes, making them a popular choice for developers.

Alchemy

Alchemy provides the SDK and APIs to build multichain Web3 DApps, and the skills to use them through a community/university-like initiative. Developers can use the free tools to create smart contracts for multiple use cases and multiple blockchain targets. Alchemy has inspired +$100 Billion worth of transaction value on-chain, with north of 10M end users, and royalties upwards of $1,5B.
